Creating this series was all about coming home to the loving, quiet voice that has whispered incessantly for me to accept myself for everything I am. I felt grounded to my intuition, not once thinking these works would be revealed to anyone. I was lost in the moment, feeling free and most like myself.

I was inspired to create landscapes that felt connected to this inner experience. My intuition leaned towards the colors of the earth: rich dark browns contrasting with soft yellow-beige, barely-there grey, and a variety of warm taupes. My goal was to create a feeling of peace and serenity within each painting. I hope you enjoy "Quiet Contemplation."
